Pregnancy through Postpartum Products
One of the best parts of having a baby after all of your friends is you get to pick everyone’s brains for their best product recommendations. Most of the things I used and loved were found originally by a friend who generously recommended them. Now I pass those recommendations on to you. This is a long list. It’s insane how much STUFF a little human needs or could use. I did my best to organize all of the recommendations in a way that makes the most sense.
I want this list to be as useful as possible so I will do my best to keep it up to date. If you’re finding links are broken, please don’t hesitate to email me (team@rosiecard.com) we I can get them updated.
I’m also always updating my Amazon lists: Baby and Parenting Books, Pregnancy/ Postpartum/ Feeding, and Baby Things.
Most of these links are affiliate links which means if you click them and purchase I will get a small commission fee from the company you’re buying from. Thank you so much for supporting me!
“Morning” Sickness and Other Pregnancy Fundamentals
Can we do something about the name “morning sickness” because it’s very misleading? I know it’s so different for everyone, but my pregnancy-induced sickness far exceeded the morning hours and lasted well beyond the standard 12-14 weeks.
Ginger Mints These were my tried and true favorites. They offered me nausea relief without tasting too sugar-sweet.
Tummy Drops Great flavor and helped but tasted very candy-ish so I couldn’t handle a lot of them and I needed a lot.
Perk Bone Broth I would sip this as a good source of protein. Swap this with your normal ramen seasoning for a healthier and easy-to-get-down food option.
Clean Simple Eats Protein Smoothie I lived off of protein smoothies for the first few weeks of pregnancy and postpartum. Vanilla mixed with orange juice makes an easy-to-drink creamy orange drink and a quick source of protein. Brownie Butter is my go-to for a morning smoothie. You can also use it to make easy protein balls for helpful snacking.
Clean Simple Eats Protein Nut Butters I survived my 3rd trimester of pregnancy off a bowl of yogurt, blueberries, walnuts, and Protein Butter drizzled over the top. I like the packets that offer a mixture of all the flavors so I could mix it up.
Prenatal Multivitamin $57.95 There are endless options for prenatal vitamins. I landed here because my fertility acupuncturist who I would trust with my life recommended it. It’s also a recommended brand in my favorite fertility book It Starts With The Egg.
Unisom and Vitamin B6 dream team This simple combo is the only thing that got me through the first and third trimester nights. After taking the full Unisom for a few weeks I dosed down to half a pill and found that was the perfect amount for me. I slept soundly but didn’t feel groggy the next morning.
G2G Protein Bars Again, when you’re feeling sick you just need a simple and quick option to get some calories and protein in your system. These are my favorite protein bars and were always easy to get down.
Alcohol Wipes $3.99 (100 pack) Throw a few of these in your purse, car, and pockets. When I was out and feel nauseous I’d crack one of these open and give it a sniff to help keep it at bay.
Barf Bags $19.99 (60 pack) Another on the to keep nearby and stashed in all the places.

Burt’s Crib Sheets $15.98
Recliner $440 Is it the prettiest? No, but this chair is a critical part of our family now. I slept in this chair for the last month of pregnancy. It reclines. It rocks. It’s tall enough to support my head. The arms are substantial enough to support. All I’m going to say is you won’t care about (or be kept warm by) esthetic in the middle of the night.

Stroller Fan $29.99
Doona Car Seat $550 Your girl won’t be lugging a car seat on her arm.
UPPAbaby Vista Stroller $999 Kyle and I went back and forth a lot on which stroller system to go with. We landed on the Vista because we love the big wheels, large storage space, and versatility. The bassinet has been really nice while Stewie is small. He much rather snooze laying down than scrunched in a seat for now.
Baby
Swaddles that stay $35.99 (3-pack) These are hands down on favorite swaddles because they actually stay swaddled and keep Stew’s arms in. They also zip from the bottom if you wanted to get to their diaper without totally unswaddling.
Favorite gauzy swaddle $26.99 (2-pack) These swaddles are soft and have a nice stretch to them. We use them a lot for bath time. We wrap him in one and then put him in his bath chair. This helps keep him warm without needing to submerge his whole body.
